Baled Wood Shavings

Shavings are exceptionally absorbent and make great bedding for Horses and Poultry. Bedding is made an easier task as Shavings spread well and are easy to maintain. With a fresh, dry, comfortable, pine smelling bed your animals will thrive. Our baled shavings come directly from Timber Mills where timber is kiln dried and then planed. This process ensures the highest absorbency thus giving you longer lasting beds and considerable financial savings. Due to the drying process you can be assured that your bedding will not contain any harmful mould spores. We do not use any recycled timber. Bales of Shavings are approx 22 kg in weight and are packed in units of 36 bales per pallet.

Strawchip

The straw is collected for processing based on moisture content and absence of mould spours. The straw is then milled to increase absorbency to a higher level than Paper, chopped straw and sawdust. The milled straw is then screened to remove dust and mould and bacteria inhibitors are added. Strawchip is baled in 100 litre packs and stacked on pallets for easy delivery. Strawchip is especially recommended for bedding horse and poultry as it spreads easily and is easy to keep clean, it also composts quickly after use.
